Let me first say ...I do not like writing reviews. Hon Wong and I have spoken about it and he understands why. But with that being said I feel compelled to share my experience with you. I have been involved with magic for 30 plus years. My dad was a professional magician. I have been to many various magic seminars, lectures and presentations. Most of them were terrific, perfectly fun and I learned a lot. But none of them have inspired me the way Zap Live 2009 did. Hon teaches you...tells you how to make a prosperous living and convinces you why it is your best interest to live a more service driven life. Be prepared this is deep stuff. I would venture to say most are not ready to hear it. It really does give you a completely different outlook on your life. I love magic... I live to help people. This seminar combines those two in a completely unique way. I always believe that motivation comes from the inside but Hon does supply the support to keep you going. He really does want you to succeed. The best review that I can give is to say Hon ...I thank you for my life has changed.

The weekend was filled with surprises and wonderful method extenders. Hon and Gordon both showed class and professionalism in the sessions we had, and everything was easy to follow. The bonuses were excellent and left me wanting more! The people there were great, and I really didn't want to leave, but I had to get home. Once again you have me saying 'I want more!!'

Hi Hon, got back home safely :)

I want to thank you and Gordon for an AMAZING weekend. I know for a fact that not only myself, but my mom and friend have received such valuable information. We learned so much and am eager to start helping other people with the techniques you have taught us (and making money at the same time). And I want to thank you for all the personal attention and help you have given each and every one of us. I am so thankful we were able to attend and definitely look forward to attending future seminars!

I am a cardiologist in Baltimore, Md. I just ordered your DVD at Penguin. I have been using hypnosis since 1974 for such things as smoking cessation and weight loss. I must say that I am sceptical but bought the DVD anyway. Of course, once you hypnotize someone, you can instantaneously re hypnotize him with a post hypnotic suggestion. But to challenge someone by trying Zap hypnosis, it seems to me would make it much harder to hypnotize that person if you fail. You must have some who don't respond. What is your rate of inducing hypnosis that quickly and how do you handle it if you fail. Or do you only attempt this in those who you predict to be easy subjects.

Well I have an open mind, so I will study your method and see what happens. By the way, I have very good success in smoking cessation even in those patients who just go lightly under hypnosis. Being a cardiologist, I can be pretty persuasive even without the hypnosis.

The DVD and Book explains everything,

The Suggested book list in Zap the book is not required yet is helpful.

I do caution the use of Zap Instant Hypnosis with anyone with Medical Conditions or Psychological Conditions.

Gordon and I and Many of our current Zap students are at 100%...not all students are.

We do not use an out...there are physical convincers (eye lock) that you can use immediate after you Zap.

I did not acquire this from Penguin, but I had to write a review anyway. After watching this, my mind was blown! This is the real deal. I have not zapped anyone yet, but reading these reviews gives me a boost in courage. Also, to anyone feeling unsure, make sure you go to the bonus section and let Hon hypnotize you through the television...it really helps. Its all coming together for me and I know my time to zap will come soon!

This DVD and booklet set is not worth it. I could not believe what was being passed off as "technique" and "knowledge" and "skills" here. Absolutely horrifying, not worth 1/10th of the cost. Hon Wong says he is the creator of the "ZAP" effect or method. If you still feel you are going to get something out of purchasing ZAP, do your own due diligence first, just as if you were going to purchase a method from Criss Angel or Jay Sankey or Alvo Stockman. 2 stars awarded just for the quality of the DVD which is good. The information contained within...virtually worthless.

I have 10 years of hypnosis experience and think that although this is a good product, is not the best to begin to learn hypnosis, there..s a lot of things that the DVD or the book doesn..t cover. I think that if I had bought this DVD as my first learning aid, I will have put it down to learn in other place. In the other side, If you know the basics of hypnosis this can help you to have a faster induction.

I admit to being sceptical before receiving the DVD, but it worked for me right away, and the effect it has on participants, bystanders and you yourself simply can not be overstated. My only word of caution for any prospective buyer would be that it takes quite a bit of confidence to pull off the Zap. The DVD helps in this respect though.

I always wanted to get into hypnosis but never knew where to start. Start here. The first week or so I felt that unconfident in my abilities and was unsure if it would work. I can now tell you that with watching the dvd and reading the book a couple of times that it does work and it works amazingly! What other "trick" (in quotes because it ain't a trick, much like other hypnotic inductions) can give such a powerful and meaningful and different and AMAZING feeling from the participant. Wow. That's all I can say. Simply amazing.

Today i zapped for the first time. I went to my mates place and he'd seen Zap on youtube and i offered to try it out on him. He agreed and we went out into his backyard and it worked!! After I watched all the DVD and read the book a 2nd time I tried it on my wife. She had hypnosis before and it did not work on her, but when I zapped her she went under instantly. I gave her a couple of tests and she was under, so I tried to use post hypnotic suggestion to work on a fear she had. The results were 100% This is a sure winner. You MUST follow the directions as he gives them! No short cuts! This is a skill, not a trick. But it is effective and worth much more than the 150 he charges. Peter "Paddy"

I just wanted to mention a little about Hon's support. Never in my life have I purchased a product and had so much contact with the creator. I have purchased many things in my life and I don't think any one of them can compete with the information and help that Hon gives his "students". Hon always answers his messages on myspace and is very prompt when responding to questions on the private message board. He even blessed me with a phone call which has shattered any doubt it my mind about how much he believes in his product. And to all the speculators and haters who are calling Hon and Gordon a fraud and that this is completely impossible, I say give him permission to hypnotize you and let him shake your hand. People always fear what they do not understand! Bottom line ZAP works!

I am a Certified Hypnotherapist. My office staff bought this for me for laughs. I was surprised when it arrived. Your method is more than an Induction. It's like a graduate program in hypnosis. I own the following in DVDs. Richard Bandler Doing Richard Bandler (NLP seminar on 4 DVDs) Tom Silver's (Shock Induction series) Sean Michael Andrews (Rapid inductions) Richard Nongard (Speed Trance) "Michael C. Anthony DVDs and much more in the Clinical Hypnosis Products. Zap did the impossible. I can now do what you call Zap. We were taught in Graduate School that this was not possible. Hon is without a doubt one of the best hypnotists in the world. I have been studying hypnosis for well over 3 years and Hon's method is unique to every method I've seen out there. I've watched this man at work and he's had me out cold in the past. His son Gordon is just as masterful as he is and from one day alone I witnessed over half a dozen people get put out. 100% success rate? They are not kidding.

I have been studying hypnosis for a little over a year. I will say that what he shows on the video WILL work in hypnotizing a person just as rapidly as he portrays. I have been using a combination of inductions over the last year ranging from instant and rapid inductions to slower fractional relaxation inductions. I have used inductions very similar to what he shows on the video and it does work, but my experience has been that they work more often if you include a pretalk. I have hypnotized people with pretalk and without and I have a better success rate when I use the pretalk. I'm not sure what he is doing that nullifies the need for a pretalk but the technique that he is using will do the trick for the actual induction. Without ever having seen the video, it is very likely based on the sample clip that he will teach the techniques necessary to perform astonishing hypnosis.

Anyone familiar with Hon Wong's hypnosis knows that he is the real deal. This is something I learned at the noblezada experience and I have been hypnotizing people ever since. Hi Friends,

My Baby Girl, Isabel started reading at about 2 years old with the Program called "Your Baby Can Read."

We Love that program.

It teaches pattern recognition not the Alphabet.
She learned to read before she leaned the full alphabet.
Recently she has been able to read words we never taught her.
She saw the word "INFANT" on her New Baby Disney Infant Book and she read the whole Title without us teaching her.

This Brings us Back to Zap.

With Zap, I chose not to over complicate the teaching of Hypnosis by
not covering history, trance states, etc.

I chose to teach Zap hypnotically and in metaphors.

This has proven to work.

Zap Students that chose to follow specific usage instructions from Zap can now perform Zap.

Other hypnotist are now copying what they did not understand until the
release of Our Zap by now coming out with their patch work products called
"Hypnosis for Hypnotist, Street Hypnosis, Gentle Speed Trance, etc,
etc..."

Let me ask you...

Do you have to know the history of how to build an
automobile to learn to drive? I suggest you do not. You learned safety,
rules and laws of the road and how to drive your car.

Do you have to know how and why electricity works to turn on a light or do the myriads of miracles that electricity can do? No!

Now some who can now Zap are learning about Methods and history from
other products. I applaud you. Yet, if you were to learn from their
product First you would still be left with...How do you hypnotize
people? You would be led to purchase nearly all their product on skits,
then patter, then stage presence, etc...

Zap covers constructing your own patter, skits, safety, insurance, alternative Zap Methods (Sitting, Standing, etc.), and so much more.

Some have purchased unauthorized copies of Zap (less than the 2 hour
and 50+ minutes and some with no book) and think they understand
Zap...they do not.

Zap works where others lack.

Zap begins where other thought were not possible.

Hi Friends,

I have said all along that you should buy other hypnosis products. Learn all you can about the Mind. Many hypnosis products are very good, some are VERY BAD.

None can teach you Zap.

I own a lot of hypnosis products. Yet, most of my hypnosis products are only available at live events and are clinical and therapeutic in nature.

Now other hypnotist that sell their hypnosis products are coming out with "Gentle Speed Trance" "Hypnosis for Hypnotist"...etc...many released those products after Zap announced pre-sale and during Zap's Production...once again proving that they lack what we can teach you with Zap.

Some has gone as far as accusing me of "Dragging" my Child, Gordon, along when we filmed Zap or when I teach my Seminar/WorkShops.

Do they even realize that Gordon was the Main Developer of Zap?

Do they Realize that Gordon has had several $10,000s of thousands of dollars in live training in NLP/Hypnosis above and beyond what I have personally taught him?

Do they even know or realize that Gordon was better at 5 years old than they are now at 40 or 50?

Do they realize that Gordon and I have been developing Zap since he was 7 years old and I was 39 years old.

Now, they also complain about our Lexus and our Breitling Time Piece.

I can not respond to their lack of success.

My Trainers were All Wealthy.

My Trainers usually earn more in an hour than most people earn in a month...some of the people I have trained with and trained For actually earns more in an hour than Most people earn in Many Years.

Is that Fair?

No.

Yet, Life is not Fair.

Why does the Best Professional Basketball/Football player earn Many Millions and the person that play weekend sports earn $0.00?

You can all answer this better than I can.

Perhaps if they complain LOUD enough about Zap they can overcome their products lacking ability to teach the purchasers how to hypnotize.

Zap and unfair advantage

I have had a few people express concerns of ethics and unfair advantage in using Zap in Communication and Negotiations with Zap.

Life is full of unfair advantages.

Examples:

#1) One person goes to a Famous University and gets a Prestigious University Degree and Another Person only completes High School they Both apply for the same job yet the one with the University Degree qualifies for the Job...unfair Advantage...same situation...yet, the High School Student convinces the Owner he can work harder, longer, and less complaints...the High School Student gets the job...unfair Advantage.

#2) One Person inspires Another to Gladly Gift him a Time Piece worth More than Most Cars because he knows how to Speak with Influence and he trains others to do the same...unfair Advantage.

#3) A Nation through Fear and Intimidation (Bombs and Guns)Terrorizes a Nation and Enslaves it's Peoples yet a Naked Man (Gandhi) through Words alone fights back and win...unfair Advantage.

So...just because another can not do what you can now do with Zap it does not mean you are wrong...unless, your intent is wrong...

that it hasn't worked - it has, just tell them to close their eyes and
continue regardless. And they do. I'll tell you a specific story about
that in a moment. Some laugh, some talk, just tell them to close ther
eyes, relax and be silent. They'll do it - but always say this and do
this with COMPASSION!

It is a HUGE thing to trust a stranger so
completely as to follow thier directions in such a vulnerable state.
You truly never ZAP ANYONE. They ZAP themselves and allow you the
privlege of directing them.

Now, an exmaple.

Yesterday, I
had a very young patient in my clinic, a little 8 year old girl. Very
bright, but nervous and agitated. And she was worried about the
acupuncture needles I was too use on here and couldn't relax at all. I
turned to her mother who was present the whole time and said, "I think
we'll do a little magic trick shall we".

Then I turned to the
little girl and asked her if she knew what a wizard was - and she said
Harry Potter and Dumbledore were wizards and I said that was exactly
right. But that I also was a wizard and that if she'd like I could cast
a magic spell on her to make her fall asleep and feel no discomofort
and wake up moments later feeling fantastic in every way. She said
she'd be very impressed if I could do that.

I laughed and said
that in a moment I was going to take her hand, say my magic word and
she would fall back onto my couch and find herself very relaxed and
asleep. Then I asked her to hold out her hand and I very gently tugged
and said sleep. Her arm barely moved and she just fell back.

Her mother was shcoked.

So
I continued and said she was doing fine and that in a moment - and then
she opened here eyes - I didn't worry about this at all, I just paused
and said close your eyes and relax even deeper into the couch, which
she did and I continued. I told here that in a moment she would try to
get up and I would snap my fingers in her ear and she wold fall back
down sound a sleep. I did this and she was out.

I then told her
to concentrate on the background music and that each time she heard a
bird chirp she would become more and more relaxed, she nodded when she
understood this and then I just got on with the needles. She never felt
a thing.

Went outside with her mother, who asked me in all
seriousness if I was in fact a wizard, and I laughed it off and said I
simply directed a very a intelligent and bright little girl to relax
and fall asleep of her own accord - which is exactly what happended.

I
did nothing in that room - that little girl did all the work, and it's
important to be thankful and grateful that she allowed me to help her
in that way.

15 minutes later I walked back in took the needles
out and woke her up to a 5 count the way Hon does. She woke up, felt
amazing and asked when would I put the needles in cause she felt brave
enough now. I told we already had and she was stunned. I am now
offically a wizard in her eyes.

Now - let's look at what I did - because while what I said and they way I said it differs from Hon's - it's the SAME method.

1.
I established credibility by including myself in list of wizards she
would know as having the ability to cast a magic spell - this is is
socail proof to her that I can do what I say. She now believes I can do
it.

2. I get her permission and co-operation

3. In a
manner APPROPRIATE to her, ie very gentle and softly, not with impact
like Hon, I told her what I was going to do - then I did what I told
her, and she did what I told her she would do.

That's all there is to it.

The
look, the voice, the tone and handshake are all MINOR details you vary
for the person you are doing it to. If you think they expect a strong
booming command - give it to them. If they think subtle power - give it
to them - if they believe the lightest touch will do it, then go light,
if they want explosiove, be explosive.

The manner in which you
change tone etc is dependant on the rapport and method you've
communicated with them so far. If I had boomingly said SLEEP in my
quite clinic after being so soft spoken the poor girl would have
freaked.

Do what is apprpriate at the time and follow the list.

Then you'll succed.

Paul is Correct. Your Positive Intentions are of Utmost Importance in the Performance of Zap.

Please
Notice in Your Zap DVD and Book, that I call people we Zap
Participants. We do not call them Subjects and, GOD forbid, we
definitely never call anyone Victims.

Whether you know it or not your words mean everything to your intent.

In Zap we do Positive things For someone...we Never do things To someone.

Although
the Zap Product does not go into Hypnotherapy because of the depth
required to teach Hypnotherapy...you will see that I Primarily use Zap
for Instant Therapy.

Most Hypnotist/Hypnotherapist already say
that what we do in Zap is not possible. We do Instant Phobia Cures,
Smoke Cessation, Grief Release Therapy. etc...with Zap. Most
Hypnotist/Hypnotherapist called us fraud with Our Development of Zap.

I
Presented Zap Hypnosis in NLP/Hypnosis Workshops and We were called
Frauds because the Concept was Developed by My Son, Gordon(a Child) and
the Zap Method was Developed by myself (a relative Unknown). At the
time we were not willing to teach the Method in fear of more well known

I admit to beingsceptical before receiving the DVD, but it worked for me right away,and the effect it has on participants, bystanders and you yourselfsimply can not be overstated. My only word of caution for any prospective buyer would be that ittakes quite a bit of confidence to pull off the Zap. The DVD helps inthis respect though.

I seem to be getting a lot of hate emails saying I stole Zap from the guy below.

Apparently he has a large following. I have not heard of him until the hate mails.

Notice that in his video he has a corded microphone and appears to be filmed after a Hypnosis Stage Show. Notice how he also ask his participant have you ever been hypnotized and the participant says "yes" (re-induction).

When Gordon and I re-induce someone as he appears to be doing we do not even need to do Zap...We just Command "Sleep."

I have been doing that induction since I was 7 years old and he did not invent that.

Ialways wanted to get into hypnosis but never knew where to start. Starthere. The first week or so I felt that unconfident in my abilities andwas unsure if it would work. I can now tell you that with watching thedvd and reading the book a couple of times that it does work and itworks amazingly! What other "trick" (in quotes because it ain't atrick, much like other hypnotic inductions) can give such a powerfuland meaningful and different and AMAZING feeling from the participant.Wow. Todayi zapped for the first time. I went to my mates place and he'd seen Zapon youtube and i offered to try it out on him. He agreed and we wentout into his backyard and it worked!! AfterI watched all the DVD and read the book a 2nd time I tried it on mywife. She had hypnosis before and it did not work on her, but when Izapped her she went under instantly. I gave her a couple of tests andshe was under, so I tried to use post hypnotic suggestion to work on afear she had. The results were 100% This is a sure winner. I just wanted to mention a little about Hon's support. Neverin my life have I purchased a product and had so much contact with thecreator. I have purchased many things in my life and I don't think anyone of them can compete with the information and help that Hon giveshis "students". Hon always answers his messages on myspace andis very prompt when responding to questions on the private messageboard. He even blessed me with a phone call which has shattered anydoubt it my mind about how much he believes in his product. I am a Certified Hypnotherapist. My office staff bought this for me for laughs. I was surprised when it arrived. Your method is more than an Induction. It's like a graduate program in hypnosis. I own the following in DVDs. Richard Bandler Doing Richard Bandler (NLP seminar on 4 DVDs) Tom Silver's (Shock Induction series) Sean Michael Andrews (Rapid inductions) Richard Nongard (Speed Trance) "Michael C. Anthony DVDs and much more in the Clinical Hypnosis Products. Zap did the impossible. I can now do what you call Zap. We were taught in Graduate School that this was not possible. Should this information be sold on a Magic website?

Honis without a doubt one of the best hypnotists in the world. I have beenstudying hypnosis for well over 3 years and Hon's method is unique toevery method I've seen out there. Ihave been studying hypnosis for a little over a year. I will say thatwhat he shows on the video WILL work in hypnotizing a person just asrapidly as he portrays. I have been using a combination of inductionsover the last year ranging from instant and rapid inductions to slowerfractional relaxation inductions. I have used inductions very similarto what he shows on the video and it does work, but my experience hasbeen that they work more often if you include a pretalk. I havehypnotized people with pretalk and without and I have a better successrate when I use the pretalk. I'm not sure what he is doing thatnullifies the need for a pretalk but the technique that he is usingwill do the trick for the actual induction. Without ever having seenthe video, it is very likely based on the sample clip that he willteach the techniques necessary to perform astonishing hypnosis.

Hon, Peter Lansing here, hope it's well with you.

I just finished a 23 day trade show for county fairs in Columbus OH and am beat. It was a bear. There was one man that did "comedy hypnotism" as a stage show but after a couple of minutes talking to him, boy is he a waste of money.

Well, enough of that, my question is simple but hard. Now that I can Zap, I do want to go professional with it, like you are doing. How do you market your abilities and how do you set your price structure?

Another question, I don't feel comfortable having my subjects "drop like a sack of potatoes." So I explain that they are going to remain seated and be "glued to the chair." What are your thoughts on this as opposed to your method?

My Answer Follows:

Hi Professor Paddy,

No hypnotist you will ever talk to will truly understand Zap...unless they have invested in the DVD Product like yourself or they attended My Invitation Only Live Events their comments will be uninformed regarding Zap. He may have a wealth of knowledge in Standard hypnosis.

Zap as you now know is a New Concept in Mind Method and is not Standard hypnosis.

Now as for the way You want to perform Zap, I covered in the Bonus Section performing Zap on a Seated and Standing "Participant."

How you decide to Perform Zap is Your Choice...I usually perform on Seated Participants in Most of My Events. You can see the below video what I do.

As for setting fees, I can not answer that for You. You can tell by how I insisted My Zap DVD Product to be Priced that I Personally Never Compete on Price, I Compete on Quality.

I Intentionally set My Fees Very High and Screen My Clients. I Reject Most Applicants.

I Do Not Want Clients that have to ask why I am 10 to 100 times more than anyone else. My Clients want to know that Very Few Others can Afford My Services.
I can resolve their situation when others say it is Impossible.
They see My Services like a Bentley or Rolls Royce Purchaser...If they must ask, they do not really want it...I get very good referrals from Past Clients.

If you are asking about charging for show fees, I can not say...I do not do Entertainment. My Shows are for people that want their lives changed and I also pre screen my show attendees.

If you want Fee structure for Hypnotherapy, I know of Low End from $50.00 an hour to a High End of $125,000.00 an hour.

My Sessions Starts at $1,000.00 per hour on the phone and Starts at $5,000.00 per hour in Person.

I usually prefer to do Group sessions for My Clients and I usually start my fees at $1,000.00 for half a day for group sessions.

Most Common Hypnotherapist are between $125.00 to $250.00 per hour in most local telephone books.
